Terms of Use

Your use of Goodbyeword is governed by Apple's Apple Standard EULA. The terms below add to it. If they conflict, these terms apply to the extent the EULA allows.

Goodbyeword Plus

• Plus is available monthly, yearly or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Monthly and yearly plans include the same benefits; only the price and billing period differ.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel them in your Apple ID settings.
• The yearly plan may include a 7-day free trial, once per Apple ID. If you don't cancel during the trial, the yearly price is charged when it ends.
• Lifetime includes all Plus features available at the time of purchase, for as long as Goodbyeword is offered. Features added later are not guaranteed to be included.

New-word allowance

Free: up to 30 new words per calendar month (starter word packs don't count). Plus: up to 50 new words per day. These limits keep the service available for everyone and may change; we will update this page if they do.

AI-generated content

Definitions, dialogues, translations and voices are generated by AI and may contain mistakes. Don't rely on them for medical, legal or other professional advice. If a dialogue is inappropriate or wrong, report it from the dialogue details; we review reports and act on them.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service, for example by automating requests, getting around the limits, or using it to generate harmful content. We may limit or suspend access in that case.
